The statue of Christ the Redeemer on top of the Corcovado mountain(hunchback), which is situated in the heart of Tijuca National Park in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.Looming 100-feet high, arms outstretched.the massive statue which is 125 ft tall and weighs 700 tons. The distance between his two arms is 28mts.
Taj Mahal is in the city of Agra,on the banks of the Yamuna River.It was built in the memory of the beautiful Arjumand Bano Begum,who won the heart of a
Mughal prince,Shaha Jehan.The momument is in mausoleum(white marble) .Its construction was started in 1631 and completed in 1653.The most skilled architects, inlay craftsmen, calligraphers, stone-carvers and masons came from all across Indian and lands as distant as Persia and Turkey.
The best known construction on the site is Kukulcan's Pyramid.a square-based, stepped pyramid that is 75 feet tall. This pyramid was built for astronomical
purposes. This causes seven isosceles triangles to form imitating the bodyof a serpent 37 yards long that creeps downwards until it joins the huge serpent's

The church of St.Sophi at constantinople(istanbul)was bulit by the Roman Emperor justinian 531-530 AD. In 1453 constantinople was invaded by the Sultan
of Turkey who converted it into a Mosque.Now it is a museum.
